Walker Prequel In Development at CW
Quote:

A prequel for The CW’s hit series Walker, starring and executive produced by Jared Padalecki (Supernatural), is in the works, according to Deadline. The period drama spin-off, Walker: Independence, comes from Walker creator, showrunner, and EP Anna Fricke and series writer and executive producer Seamus Fahey, with Padalecki set to executive produce. The series also hails from executive producers Dan Lin and Lindsey Liberatore.

I quickly got bored of Walker, so I doubt I'll bother with any prequal.

Disney to reboot Firefly.

Quote:

Disney evidently acquired the rights to Firefly and plans to make a Disney+ streaming version intended to be more family-friendly. In keeping with Disney's family-friendly ideals, Joss Whedon will not be joining the project.

Gotham Knights - In Development at CW
Quote:

The CW will further build on its DC comics-inspired programming slate with Gotham Knights, a drama in the works from Batwoman alums Natalie Abrams, Chad Fiveash & James Stoteraux.

Written by Abrams, Fiveash & Stoteraux, Gothom Knights is based on Gotham Knights characters from the DC comics created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. In the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder, his rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city descends into the most dangerous it’s ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected of places as this team of mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors known as the Gotham Knights.

Actually the only worrying one there is Natalie Abrams, if you look at the others they did good shows.

Natalie Abrams is an American writer and journalist. She was a writer in Supergirl and Batwoman and a staff writer and story editor in Batwoman.
So probably more PC/Woke nonsense then.

I'll probably give it a go, when it arrives (it'll be a long while yet).
If it follows the route of Supergirl, 4400 & Batwoman, and just becomes more LBM+LGBXZWTF+ bullshite, I'll soon drop it.

A recent interview with Johnathan Frakes seems to be positive for several Star Trek series renewals, he expects to be part of Discovery Season 5, Strange New Worlds Season 2, and Lower Decks Season 3 (also Picard Season 3, which we already know about).

lol, it would be funny if they made an anniversary special or something for BBT and put that in it. I can just see it now, Sheldon is happy and banging on about it and to shut him up Howard tells them are also brining back Babylon 5 :)

You should give bladerunner - black lotus a watch. A canon series between original BR and 2049.
