Hold your horses a bit mate you may get a better offer of Sky they rang me this afternoon offering 75% off for 12 months, i declined because i'm sick of virgin blaming sky, sky blaming virgin lol, but mostly because i'm happy with online tv.

Thanks theone but I might have not been 100% clear, currently have VM TV and switching TV to Sky so I think 50% off will be the best I'll get. Still pretty good though as I'll get everything with them for a couple of quid more than I pay just for Sky Sports on VM. I won't get BT Sport but not that fussed, the one thing I will miss is the third tuner but with all the VOD these days, not as essential anymore.

Can understand your views on them blaming each other though. Both are to blame for their endless profiteering! ;)

Virgin Sources has told me over the weekend that last weeks "AUDIO ENGLISH DD" was for testing purposes only - We are not posting the broadcaster name.

BT to launch more BT Sport Extra channels via Red Button.

Ofcom has given out new licensed this month for BT to launch more Red Button Channels.

-BT Sport Extra 2 (HD)
-BT Sport Extra 3 (HD)
-BT Sport Extra 4 (HD)
-BT Sport Extra 5 (HD)
-BT Sport Extra 6 (HD)
-BT Sport Extra 7 (HD)

Also rumours on Digital Spy Forum say that BT Sport 3 and BT Sport 3 HD is also testing on Sky.

be intriguing to see what comes to virgin media. i would hero worship virgin media if they can keep BT sport for free on XL and it would make all those price increases add up... i highly doubt it but it is a great selling point to say they have all the football...

We think BT Sport (We hate to say it) will become an add on Channel - Like Premier Sports - by 2017.

We think will reuse the money save on the BT Sport deal and go after new channels from Sky, Viacom, Sony and Universal.

The question is in the contract they signed was there a clause which activated a extra charge if they got Champions League football and my hunch is there is one which they will activate before the start of the football season..

As a non-sport viewer, this would be preferable to me.

One possible result is that we will continue to receive the existing channels as now, but we will have to pay more to receive the extra output.

VM are currently running an ad to show that they have all of the football in one subscription. That's a great selling point. I think they will try keep it that way.
