The problem that I have is that I do fall for the bait. If someone is being, how do we say, obnoxious towards Utd, rather than friendly banter, I will bite back. ;)

I mean you and Chill are actually okay for 'pool supporters ;)

Back on topic, FA cup final this weekend, i hope Everton win, i think Moyes deserves a trophy for the work he's done there, but i think Chelsea might be a bit too strong for them, hopefully we see some goals unlike there two league meetings this season which ended in draws. Jagielka might be a big loss for Everton against the likes of Drogba and Anelka. Hopefully it will be a good game unlike cup finals in the last few years whch haven't been the greatest.

I hope we win to :) Cant wait for tomorrow. As for losing Jagielka yes that is a massive blow but that depends if Drogba decides to play(Attitude wise). We all know what he's like.

Roll on tomorrow :)

You should try and be more laid back then, a bit like me. ;)

Temporarily? 11 out of 16 ( and 3 times on the spin TWICE , which is a FACT by the way ;) ) would suggest . as Russ b pointed out , that its not so much there temporarily as taken root.

Walk on? dream on more like

You are not one of the United Glory Hunters are you ?

Suddenly took an interest in Football around 1992 ?

A team can always improve, treading water? looking at the stats I'd say they were sinking ;) United will always be in our shadow, do not delude yourself ;)

Stop making assumptions you oik.

As it happens have been a united fan since i was 10 , which was 1981 so very much NOT a glory hunter

Always in your shadow? Bit desperate arent we?

We're level on league titles , more of everything else , fa cup wins blah blah blah

( except the uefa cup....never having had to be in it )

Only behind on european cup wins..not by a lot

So id say not so much in your shadow , more so much as having beaten you to the sunbeds..

Whos deluding themselves? Not me is it

It seems the thought of united getting to 19 titles first must be keeping you awake at night

Winning the league and we're still sinking? Coming back from 10 points behind to finishing top? That's a funny definition of sinking.

So despite our dominance all all the trophies won since 1990, we've still in Liverpool's shadow? You've also got an unusual definition of delusion too.

Well despite taking a 20 year sabbatical you still haven't over taken them. Football goes in cycles, Utd went decades without winning the league and now it's Liverpool’s turn. Difference these days is of course that exclusive gentlemen’s club aka Champions league, no smaller clubs will ever compete, unless of course they get a billionaire owner and then they'll just get accused of buying trophies

Anyway this'll brighten your day I am sure

Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov is questioning his Old Trafford future after being left on the bench for Wednesday's Champions League final. (Daily Mirror)

Equalled them in league title wins, blown them out of the water in FA Cup wins, replaced them as the dominant force in English football, I'm assuming you just mean Euro cups?

Yeah, Chelsea will always have that tag, Here's to another trophy-free season at SB.

No I was talking about leagues, which are the benchmark imo

Don't see why, wouldn't shock me to find that they'll have made a profit on transfers over the last two or three years, wonder what'll happen in the next two or three when their best players are past it?

I did mention leagues there champ. We're now on equal terms with them which is why they now stop bleating "come back when you've won the league 18 times". 2 more Euro cups and I wonder what will be left then, maybe "come back when your manager has had more team-demotivating-public-rants-that-end-up-dropping-league-points than us"?

Just found the Berba story - don't know if it's true but it's put a spring in my step this morning :)

Yes I know you mentioned equalling, just pointing out that wasn't what I originally said though. Ah yes Rafa's rant, do you really think it made any difference at all, seems to me this mind games lark has little to no impact what so ever, a complete fallacy.

I don't think there's much of a coincidence that Liverpool's 2 slumps (including squandering a 10 point gap) happen when Rafa lost his head and spouted a load of nonsense. It takes nerves of steel to take on the master of mind games and Rafa showed he doesn't have it....yet, possibly.

Seriously fergie might be a great manager but lets not go ott master of mind games lol there aint no such thing in football. Liverpool blew it because they drew with teams like mine instead of beating them, remind me how many points Newcastle were ahead of United when Keegan ranted and earnt Sir Al this very dubious title?
