So some very northen parts of the Highlands have apparently had a dusting of snow today.

Bet its not long before the rest of Scotland ends up with an early snow shower or two. I am sure it snowed at this time last year.

Not so northern - Beinn Narnain has a light dusting at the summit today. I can see it from my dining room window. I've been posting the first sighting of snow up there in this thread for a few years now but this is by far the earliest.

We didn't see any of today's forecast snow at our level, but the hill opposite us did - the snow line is a little below 600 metres:

This morning the cabbie told me that all the doors on his minibus were frozen solid when he came out to start his shift, going to be a long winter.... :erm:
