What a load of ......

And what is wrong with the Bridget Riley? At least she has painted hers very carefully.I'll be getting that poster.I also like the circles one by Rachel Whiteread. The swimming one is good too. Also like the Sarah Morris as well.

Not keen on the rest though I must admit.

I can't see what it represents myself, or what it has to do with the 2012 games. Even after reading the info on it, I think it's pushing it a bit (ok a lot). Each to their own. :)

Her black and white work though is excellent I must admit, not too keen on her coloured work at all.

Movement and speed..it's obvious.Yes the Op Art was interesting but we have moved on from that..Well Ms Riley has anyway.;)

I quite like the ones by Michael Craig-Martin, Rachel Whiteread, and Sarah Morris.

Some very uninspiring ones in there as well.

Well THIS IS ART by anyone's definition.

I may get to see this next month depending on whether tickets are available or I have to queue.

I should perhaps add that this is a unique exhibition unlikely to happen again. There haven't been this many Da Vinci's in the same building ever and the negotiations to get just half of his masterpieces together have been very delicate..I cannot begin to imagine the security cost and the insurance cover costs..

I had a search and couldn't find this:-

Computerised Painting

It's quite clever in that you can click on any person and read about them.

Interesting. Some of the click through links are good as well. It would make a great jigsaw.

I wondered about the label that stated the character was either Charles Darwin or Noah and enjoyed the in depth wiki entry on Lolcats. :D

I have a few carps about it.Bonaparte but no Wellington and only 3 women and one girl.Where was Madam Curie or Florence Nightingale?

In fact I suspect it's a very idiosyncratic selection.:erm:

I don't know if others have seen paper art but I find the work produced fascinating. It sure beats any origami that I have attempted.

I particularly like the pieces produced by Calvin Nicholls and more of his work is here.

Curie is there just above Lincoln & Mao (looks like a bloke though!).
