We can confirmed at as of July 20th no new channels are testing on Virgin Media.

So why are they on every platform including tvplayer then and not vm?
It's odd don't you think that vm is the only platform spike and trutv isn't on?
My money is on vm setting silly prices for them to be carried on vms platform, not that vm viewers are missing much anyway lol.

We feel it down to broadcasters asking too much for just one channel.

We also feel we may get Tru TV in six month time as the last deal was signed in January 2013*.

Spike fans may need to wait until June 2016 as the last Viacom deal was signed in June 2013.

*Got to have been over Tru TV asking too much over per viewer as Tru TV did even confirm what channel number they was going to launch on Virgin Media.

But anyway if they both ask Virgin to drop an sister channel they can launch on Virgin as soon as August 1st.

-Tru TV for Cartoon Network +1?
-Spike for Channel 5 + 24?

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one mate i think it is down to VM asking too much it just seems odd the channels are on every other platform vm aren't as innocent as they like to make people believe.
Afterall they have to get the money for the sports in XL someway.

It might be fantasy land, but where there should be a line drawn is sporting competitions, it can't be right that a sporting competition can sell different events from within one competition to rival subscription broadcasters meaning that a fan of one club needs to have 2 subscriptions to follow their team, as it is the main company's are playing nice at the moment but it is conceivable that a fan of the premier league could end up needing 3 different set top boxes to watch one competition.

It could also be that Virgin feel that since these channels are on freeview which most people are able to get the price for carry them is lessened?

Totally agree , I was referring to entertainment channels not sport.

Well if people accepted the status quo through the ages, we'd still be living in caves.

I don't really care if platforms have their own exclusive channels, as long as the content itself is not exclusive.

Since when has 'what the rest of the world does' ever bothered the UK anyway? The rest of the EU has the Euro. We don't.

It's exactly the same argument as I am making, DaMac. Sport is not an exceptional issue.

Media Boy HQ think due to August 1st being an Saturday we feel Virgin Media may add the new BT Sport channels on July 30th.

As of July 20th they are not testing on Virgin Media.

We have seen no info on channel numbers - yet.

But here is our ideas:
