I've changed my desktop again and here it is:

I am now running a dual screen. The wallpapers were found on the internet and the one on the left shows The Deep at Hull and the second one was taken from Gosport looking towards Portsmouth with Spinnaker Tower.

I've yet to see it since its been completed. The only time I've been is when it was been built serveral years ago. Hopefully I will get down there this year and get to check it out for myself.

Here's my ubuntu setup

Though admitedly, its ALOT slower than XP..and every linux distro i've tried has been, par from dreamlinux but i put that down to it using xfce, fluxbox seems really ugly and to simplistic for my needs, to be i can never get smooth video playback in linux as well..cuz gah, beryl is nice!

Make a thread on it, ask for some advice, post the specs etc... You'll get some advice/help :)

My latest, which is 2 drawings I found on DeviantArt while on a huge search (140,000 results). These 2 drawings were perfect to what I was looking for, and so I re-sized and slapped them together into one so I could use it as a wallpaper (the original sizes are huge).

Showed you my linux desktop and now here's my xp desktop, nowhere near as nice as the linux setup, but meh, your limited as far as customization with windows!

My desktop is the real deal vista (test version of course), i'd of thought 'aeroglass' would of given that one away.

The start menu and clock thing is standard when you use a double height taskbar

This is my old motor before front lights conversion... I love VW's!! I change my wallpaper alot, but it is sadly all car related!! I am female BTW and not a tom boy ha ha!!

Am I glad I got Image Resize Modinstalled on Firefox fos such Posts as the Dual Screen one above lol....

More than that. I find it easier to access them that way than rummage through the menu or cluttering the desktop. Plus I like the taskbar to show the date and day as well as the time so really it has to be 3 high.

I would have said a few months ago it was a nice fast dual carriageway with a 70 limit; sadly, now, it's 50.
