I've not heard that that deal has been changed. I don't know how many seasons the deal was for though.

Described as a tense thriller, an 8 part series of 'Paranoid' starts on ITV this coming Autumn. The story is about the fallout when a GP is savagely stabbed to death as she takes her son to a children's playground.

Sky 1 will be offering an epic new period drama 'Brittania' in which the Romans storm Britain to overrun the Celts. It's a 10 part series and filming has just begun. So this will probably air some time next year.

When an explosion in Washington kills the current President and entire cabinet, Tom is thrust into the top job as Commander In Chief, a position for which he’s woefully under prepared, and it looks like that attack was only the beginning…

History’s Roots reboot has found a UK home.

BBC Four has acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the four-part/six-hour miniseries, which is based on both the original novel and the award winning 1977 TV adaptation, after striking a deal with A+E Networks, TVWise has learned.

This all-important UK deal for Roots, which was brokered for the BBC by Head of Acquisitions Sue Deeks, comes after A+E has sold the miniseries into more than 220 territories since launching it to international buyers at MIPTV in April. Notably this is a rare U.S. acquisition for the BBC; whose only other U.S. scripted drama is the FX Networks anthology series American Crime Story, which airs on BBC Two.

’s another sneak attack from Netflix! They announced just 1 hour ago that CW’s brand new show Frequency, which started airing on the US network last week, is now up on Netflix UK for your viewing pleasure!

Based on the 2000 film starring Dennis Quaid & Jim Caviezel, this ‘reimagining’ stars stars Peyton List (Mad Men, Tomorrow People) as Rami Sullivan, a police detective in 2016 discovers she is able to speak, via a ham radio, with her estranged father Frank (Riley Smith – Nashville, True Blood) who died in 1996. Rami & Frank (also a police detective) forge a new relationship while working together on an unresolved murder case, but unintended consequences of the ‘butterfly effect’ wreak havoc in the present day

I watched the first one. It's OK, although I still prefer the original movie.
