Philips 50PFL4208T 50 Inch Full HD Freeview HD LED Smart TV. (3 HDMI)

Odd how it's really quite hard to find a tv now with more than 2 HDMI inputs (my older 37 inch Toshiba had 4)
Maybe we're supposed to get HDMI switchers like we used to get SCART switchers in yesteryear.

One of those very rare things these days - a nice simple, easy to operate mobile phone for MIL's birthday. It makes calls, sends texts, has nice big illuminated buttons, loud volume, a good clear display and a flip feature which prevents accidental dialling. It can be linked to the internet for an SOS function if she wants (she won't) and even has an LED torch on the front. Very good value for £30 I reckon.

Enjoy :)

If you are using the Download manager don't forget to click the box to auto-extract rar files ;) Also there is an extension for chrome that lets you right click say a torrent link and choose to get the Synology to download it.

Theres a couple of community sources that if you add to the Synology package manager gives you a ton more apps you can install on it, such as Sickbeard/Couchpotato/web servers etc.

We never thought we were going to be grandparents, son set on an international career, long hours and high earnings but not enough personal time to smell the roses. A smile, a laugh and he was smitten by the loveliest lady we have ever met. They had been at school then uni together since they were 11 but were just mates. We now have a beautiful grandson who will be 18 months old tomorrow and it had better not rain as we are having an un-birthday party for him. :D

The last thing I bought was Wolfenstein: The New Order. Pretty good game, but I'd have been a little annoyed to pay full price for it. Steam had a 1 day only half price offer last Sunday.

As a game, it's quite interesting, but hasn't caught my imagination as much as (say) Watch Dogs or GTA 5 did.

As for what I am going to buy.. For a few months now, my PC has been getting increasingly unreliable. Every so often, Explorer would crash, or the PC would refuse to start , beeping out a memory error.

TBH, I've been putting this off, but I think tomorrow, I'm going to attempt to solve the problem. I'm going to start by buying new RAM, give that a couple of weeks to see if it cures the problem.

I am not sure it will. I currently have 12 gig of ram made up of 2 x 2 gig DIMMS and 2 x 4 gig DIMMS. When the error occurs, it can occur with ANY combination of those DIMMS, so I think it's actually a faulty motherboard. The reason I am checking memory first is that it's cheaper, slightly faster than my existing memory and a I should be able to use the new memory if I should replace the motherboard.
