Your paranoia is showing again - you appear to be confusing "correcting"/"being ironic" with "attacking"...;)

It is quite ironic (there we go again with that word) that you feel the need to state you are being "attacked" when others are in disagreement with your opinions or supply facts that contradict your statements, yet you feel free to lambast others if you disagree with them - one rule for one, and one rule for others, I suppose?

btw, you flatter yourself - I have never been "very upset" with you; I find you mostly amusing, occasionally mildly irritating, but very rarely less than entertaining (not necessarily in a good way...:D).

People who are british and live in england, will usually speak english, a language from another country is foreign, whether we use that term detrimentally or not it is factually correct.

But i do, the entire thing was sort of tounge in cheek, as you might be able to tell from my user name i am indeed cut from the tartan cloth, but people on here have such high horses to jump on... but seriously whilst we are at it, an aspiring young energetic newly re-born nation wanting to go out there to impress the world and stand on it's own 2 feet isn't going to get very far trying to talk to people in gaelic, they don't do it in Ireland even though they hate (sort of) the English. Being able to speak English (and maybe mandarin) is one of the greatest gifts your parents could ever give you and spending loads of money trying to retrospectivly teach the entire nation how to speak an awquard and forgotten language is just stuborn and resentful.

I think it's a cultural agenda rather than an nationalist one that strives to keep Gaelic alive. Heritage is important.

I doubt very much if any business would expect a speaker of solely gaelic to represent them negotiations in the UK, nevermind the rest of the world. Postman Pat has never looked back since he learned the gaelic. :D

Similarly most customers don't subscribe to Sky Sports. Do you think VM should tell Sky to not bother with the red button as most won't be able to use it?

I got this one,
http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/samsung...70746-pdt.html
it's last years model but is now £699 for 46" and it's not led but that doesn't really matter. The pq on it is amazing. Also as freeview hd and Samsung smart tv features. Retails for double that on some stores still. Active glasses still are expensive but the passive sets are also really costly as they are newer so I think the costs would be about the same.

So I welcome the 3D content starting to appear.

It may do eventually but even HD uptake is still not exactly main stream yet. It's taken large screen TVs a w years to drop in price and it will be the same for 3D. Content will come as more stuff is shot in 3D.

Nice price , my only reason for looking at passive is I find the active glasses can give me a headache. It's good news more 3D content is on the way for VM subscribers.

it's last years model but is now £699 for 46" and it's not led but that doesn't really matter.

The vast majority of the public will as you say take years to adapt to new stuff.:erm:

I've been fine so far but only use the glasses a few hours a week just now.

It is good news and I was surprised at how much 3D VOD content there actually is now.

That is our thought as well.

First year after payment, using what were the mortgage payments to save up for my daughter's wedding in June 2012 (with the remainder of our savings), and then after that, using what were the mortgage payments to save up a nest-egg for our retirement 10 years later.

Anyhoo, this is way :notopic:- let's get back to the thread topic, shall we? :D

Your post raises more questions than answers.

Was the email in response to an email you sent them?

Is "some guy" at a level in the organisation that he knows what he's talking about or a BSer who makes the tea?

Do you really need to repost that whole thing each week when there is only one or two changes?

Also Eurosport 3D is now in the epg (523) and will begin broadcasting the Tennis Open on the 22nd May till the final on the 5th June. Some matches will also be on catch up for XL viewers.

Press Release http://pressoffice.virginmedia.com/p...3752&highlight=

It will also still be on Eurosport and Eurosport HD.

Do you have a new policy on posts, I noticed you moaned at Denphone for merely agreeing with someone and now all of a sudden you moan at Mediaboy who has been posting his weekly update as long as I remember.

I think Stephen made a valid point and one that I tend to agree with him on. It's a long list to wade through with little changes. TBH, I usually don't bother.

Maybe just post the changes and a link to the full list?

It's strange that all of a sudden it's a problem with MB's post but never mind.

He has been posting it for ages, maybe you should have spoken up years ago if it is a problem. And as you say you don't usually bother looking at MB's weekly post so what the hell is the problem. Nark x2!

I personally think you are just a bit of a nark but then again you are VM call centre staff so maybe it's understandable.

FYI I am not call centre staff!

No new policy but I don't see the point in posting that huge list when only 1 or 2 things are new or updated. I made that post as a member of the forum not as a mod.

Stoke v Wigan is exclusively a red button event (not just the the normal red button extra features) so I assume it wil not be available on Virgin.
