Pietersen has been disruptive where he has gone but England in the past have put up wth it on the basis of his runs,he he used to play for Nottinghamshire where he had his kit bag thrown from the dressing room window,he did not have a good reputation at Hampshire they were glad to see the back of him,and Surrey had to be paid by the ECB to take him but the contract says he will only play for Surrey until his England career is over.!

When Peter Moores became coach at England Pietersen led a revolt that made hm go and Andy Flower came in,I think he also hastened Andrew Strauss in his retirement, England should now let him move on and play IPL only as that is probably what he really wants, and England can rebuild without him.

The trouble is Pietersen has such a ego that he thinks he is bigger then the game sadly.

I really don't agree with this decision. I think it sends the wrong message to cricketers.

There will be a rift in the squad going forward. Cook doesn't seem to happy about it, whereas Broad is from Team KP and is happy to see his mate return.

One thing is for sure, we'll be revisiting this whole seanario come next years IPL.
