At this point it seems that people wishing to go multi room are benefiting from the free extra box offer but nothing (as yet) for people such as myself who paid £200 to activate 2 boxes only a few months ago.

I don't know if it is an offer or a mistake, but 7 hours after my install I currently have the Sky Premium HD channels on my TiVo and V+, when j was only expecting them to be on the TiVo. I will let you know tomorrow if they are still in situ on both boxes.

I think it can take up to 24 hours for the fact you've got TiVo to register on the systems for the apps and remote record

When should I be receiving my confirmation e-mail? Signed up on Thursday night, expected it today, nothing.

If you ordered online it will take a lot longer than over the phone:erm:

I've not been on for a couple of days, my PC almost died!

Are there many people receiving the "An update on TiVo" e-mail. I received it earlier today. The e-mail reads as follows:

"Hello Charles

Thanks again for entering our prize draw to win one of our amazing TiVo® boxes. We know you didn't manage to get a free box this time round, but we've got something up our sleeves that we think you'll like.

We're busy rustling up an offer just for you, based on our 500GB TiVo box. It holds around 250 hours of standard TV, and we're launching it in May.

So, keep your eyes peeled for our exclusive offer. We'll pop it in the post for you soon, with a unique offer code that you'll need to quote.

While you're waiting, take another look at all the amazing things that Virgin Media TV powered by TiVo can do.

Click here to watch our demo video

The Virgin Media team

P.S. If you can't wait to get your hands on our next TiVo box, our 1TB box is available now."

Sorry if this is old news, just thought I'd share with you all.

What a farce.

Just spent 30 minutes bouncing around different departments in trying to track down my online order I placed on the 12th - it would appear it doesn't exist despite the screenshots of the order number and the email about the order being received.

p*** up in a brewery springs to mind!

Is there a global padding setting for all recordings? If the answer is "no" why have they left out such an important feature?

Yippeeeee!:hyper::hyper::hyper::cleader:

Phoned this morning to CS this time rather than the 0800 number and spoke to someone in the UK!
So rather than the quoted 3 week wait... install this Thursday :D
Did offer Wednesday but so many things to do.

Cheers Guys for the advice given.
Just got to gen up a bit on the tivo box.

I spent ages over the weekend thumbing stuff and today it has recorded 19 shows based on that, that is a lot to record for one day, it is mostly stuff that I thumbed up so hopefully as new stuff comes out it will record it automatically. Although not a single one of the suggestions was in HD.

What is really odd is that I was looking at a list of all my suggestions that are listed to record and they all had a +10 min pad time on them.

It does seem to be sporadic when it records in HD, But 19 shows in one day is very good as it seems to be understanding what you want :D:D
