I'm out of contract and due an upgrade. It's probably enough of a jump from the 4 to make me stay apple, from what I've seen of the new android phones they are nice but not nice enough to make me start again phone and app wise. |
Re: The iPhone thread
Well the nfc bank card I have is starting to get used a bit more now fast food and coffee places around Glasgow and in Central Station are geting the new card readers.
Shame my mobile NFC can't be used yet as there is some weird things with google wallet making it to the UK. |
Re: The iPhone thread
WOW ,Apple invented another phone that looks exactly the same as the other 4 phones .........oh wait it's not the same ,the docking port is different so none of the expensive gadgets you bought for the other phone will connect unless you buy another expensive toy to connect them ,i bet any money that in a few months time there will be a iphone s that has the gadgets on it that where supposed to be in this one

The point of my post was that your previous post said that the iPhone 5 "may" be released "around" the 21st of September if Apple followed the "normal release date process", and so I was pointing out that I had already posted the actual officially confirmed date of the 21st of September in my previous post, a date already confirmed by Apple during the "media" event and already on Apple's website. If you were "well aware" , then why all the "may" & "around" & "if"? Quote:
Although admittedly it has a similar design to the 4/4S (albeit thinner and taller!) it does not look at all the same as the original, the 3G, or the 3GS. Quote:

It followed on from the similar releases of the previous iPhones. As above pre register as soon as possible if you want a iPhone 5. Many colleagues have been waiting for its release so have been in 30 day rolling contracts waiting to upgrade. |

Re: The iPhone thread
What's with the remarks about the dock connector? The current one has been used for 9 years, Samsung have had 4 different ports in that time (propriety, miniUSB, microUSB, tablet propriety).
They changed it so it can be plugged in either way and so there is more room in the phone for other components. |

I find it funny. People are moaning that the only things that have changed are that it has a slightly faster CPU, slightly bigger screen and a slightly better camera. Yet, when Samsung, HTC, Motorola etc release a new phone, people get excited that it has a slightly faster CPU, a slightly bigger screen and a slightly better camera. |

Eh? Sorry, I'm not sure you get my point, as I certainly don't get yours. You posted about how it "may" be released "around" the 21st of September if Apple followed the "normal release date process", and so I posted pointing out that I had already posted the actual officially confirmed date of the 21st of September in my previous post, a date already confirmed by Apple during the "media event" and already on Apple's website. No "may", "around" or "if" about it, and no need for you or anyone else to have been in work to be able to access "business sensitive information" regarding whether it would be release on or "around" the 21st. Apple confirmed the release date during the "media event" and added it to its website. The release date was then posted all over the internet, based upon the official date already confirmed by Apple. Here at CF, I had posted the date based upon the official date already confirmed by Apple. You then later posted as if there was no set date and that it "may" be "around" the 21st and you'd find out more the next day. I posted to simply point out that you were late with your post giving the date, and that there was no "may" about it: It had already been confirmed by Apple earlier. |
