Farage was very careful about what he would openly say in the meeting. The reporters asked about the donation that was being planned (which would be illegal) and he didn't go 'we'll get away with it' and just moved on.

He said he’d have to pass any proposals through his legal team. That’s what he does, and it’s why he has been able to have all these investigations find that he’s done nothing wrong.

They want to be seen to be dealing with this robustly to avoid allegations of a cover-up - the kind of thing that other parties get accused of on a regular basis.

Funny how people prefer to prattle on about the smears rather than the policies. You wouldn’t believe there’s a Reform UK Conference going on, would you?

Works out to be worth £9.34 a week, paid for off the backs of disabled people by severely cutting their entitlement to Personal Independence Payments and as a result the withdrawal of Carers Allowance for their carers.

I've come to the conclusion that people paying tax isn't the right way to run the UK.

NHS is shit, Social services are shit, Local councils are bankrupt . . we can still have all that and pay bugger all tax

is that the potential donor who didn't have anything to donate, therefore wasn't actually a donor but was going to check if it was ok not to donate the money he didn't have

Is this the party that advocates free speech and the protection of women and girls?

I think if you protest at a party's conference, you can expect forceful eviction. But to have your hair pulled and hit with a crutch by supporters just looks thuggish.

They do seem to have a habit of incorrectly claiming the police are preventing them from doing things - not attending the declaration at Clacton and now not starting on time in Birmingham. Does not look like the approach of a party that is confident in governing the country.
