Sorry, I know VIP is incredibally overpriced now - However ppl like myself with XL are getting screwed over aswell. Because XL prices keep going up too.

I think I may have missed something here, all this talk about Â£7 for sky sports HD. Does this mean we will get sky sports SD for free?

NOTE: Aparantly the possible reason to the extra delay as they were suppost to announce them today is because ppl at Virgin Media HQ find it intresting to hear our comments on both forums Cable Forum and Digital Spy.

Not free, you still have to pay to subscribe to it lol. But Â£7 on top if you want a HD dippy egg

Champs league is what I want it for. I've not had SS for a few years now because of this.

Just to add, on the promo on the website...the HD promo mentions '13' channels no more no less. 13 HD channels as part of the NO HD charge blurb. Note:...not for ever, not every additional HD channel.

I think the Â£7 is expensive, but my solution is to stick with sky sports SD which I have managed with for years, then when the HD versions are included I'll take them. Don't lets fall for Sky's tricks. Virgin clearly are making no money on the HD anyway. So looking forward to new season and continuing to get all sports channels in SD, so won't miss anything. Film 4 HD tomorrow at no extra cost! Chill everyone

right somone answer this question, why was Sky Sports not discounted to XL customers but was to medium and large, so you pay the most money but dont get any discount but low packages do ??

26.50 for Sky movies HD is excessive when u consider for 14.99 you can rent Blue Ray from Lovefilm.
