I have Sky Fibre BB and i have not had any issues with it. A few minor issues with router but nothing i cant quickly fix

No Channels are set to launch until AFTER the world cup.

Base on information I have seen the new Sky Sports HD channels is set to launch sometime from July 14th to July 19th - I do know the date but it still under DNP at time of posting.

The rest of Sky Sports Channels is set to also move to new channel numbers around that week.

Why can't they launch when the world cup is on?

No sane media company would make changes to their system while a major sporting event is on

In case something goes wrong with the change and it knocks out the services that people are using to watch / listen to / find out about the major sporting event

Ah sky bosses who don't watch tv themselves desperately still using Atlantic exclusivity as their means to get people to join sky and scratching their heads confused in meetings as the pie charts and bar graphs don't say so...

I'm sorry Vince but your above statement just bears no relation to reality. Sky keeps Atlantic exclusive for good reasons and keeps in touch with the marketplace with user panels etc. Sky Atlantic may not be a compelling reason to join Sky but it helps tip the balance if people are considering leaving Sky for VM and acts as a differentiator. People don't like losing access to channels, even if they don't watch those channels much.

I think what Vince is trying to put across is that Sky's view that SA is driving subscriptions does not appear to be borne out by the viewing figures, which are surprisingly low.

I must say, I would have thought that more people would view it than do, and I don't understand why this is not the case.

But the BBC article says that 1.1m people saw the premier of Season 3 and it has the highest catch-up numbers for any series on Sky. What figures were people expecting?
