Yeah United will be bidding as we speak. He is exactly what they need and he is available and he would most likely rather go there. Hope Arsenal have a backup plan.

Being a Spurs fan, l fully understand about Bale going. To me its a great deal of money for any player.

I do know that Real Madrid did not want to upset Ronaldo, as he is the most expensive going. But l just hope that Bale doesn't end up like all the other great players that have left Tottenham end up on the scrapheap - ie Berbatov and Modric who have not played well since leaving.

Good luck to Gareth, but l think he has made the wrong move.

:rofl: Modric had issues settling but has since been brilliant for RM. he got treated very very badly by the Spanish press saying hes the worst RM signing etc. but came back and had the last laugh. you should have seen him earlier!

Well with £300.000 going into his bank account every week l don't think he will see it that way.
