Plenty of bargains at B&M's this morning.

I Love B & M's den. I got a 7 in 1 steam cleaner from B&Ms, two weeks ago for £34.00 more than half the price of other retail shops.

Fridge pack pepsi, sweets and crisps from Home Bargains that's the goodie bag filled for the boy's again. Not that they eat a lot of sweets

Yes there are things there which are so so much cheaper then the greedy supermarkets to start with.

Let us know how you get on with it. We have the same problem with cats and would like a good solution as the country* one isn't really on in a built up area. Spike boards are moderately effective but a bit ugly.

Use carpet grippers on top of your fence panels if you have them, do not forget to treat them with fence treatment/paint/stain as well.

Yep, we do that but there would be a greater degree of satisfaction in blasting their effin headsoff.

Talking of buying things. I am thinking of buying a Steam Cleaner for my wooden floors and carpets , Does anyone know what make is the best. I have read good reports and some bad reports about some of them. Would like an upright one and a 2 in 1 .

Nash I got a I got a 7 in 1 steam cleaner from B&Ms when it was on sale at £34.99 just checked my receipt but I think it's went back up in price to £39.99 but still a good buy IMO. I find it really good on the laminate flooring that I have upstairs in the bedrooms, on the tiled floor in the kitchen & Bathroom it's really good Streak free :) it also works a treat on the living room carpet. One thing I would say is be careful on wooden floors (personally I would not use it on wooden flooring) I put a dash of comfort ironing water in the water tank when I use it on my carpet as I feel it leaves the carpet smelling really nice. The window attachment is the only thing I find rubbish. The make I got is a Goodmans but B&Ms sell other makes including the vax 10 in 1.

These people are Wolf specialists, worth a look.

I got my MIG welder from them for a stupidly cheap price. (It's very heavy, nearly gave the delivery guy a hernia)

You might as well save a bit more and for a multi-function cleaner.

Trombone slide cream :)

Why? Have you got a sore trombone? :D

Re: What have you just bought?

I don't have a trombone ;) - but I do have a squeaky x52 joystick. It's supposedly the best lubricant to sort it out.

Natalie was getting very irate while I was playing Elite as the squeaking was disturbing the TV - can't have that.

Blimey I'm not sure what sound more painful - a sore trombone or squeaky joystick... :D

Silicone spray is good for sorting out squeaks.
