Prince Bishop just denied his stablemate Royal Empire in a one-two for Saeed bin Suroor in the totepool September Stakes at Kempton.

Royal Empire looked like justifying 9-4 favouritism when he swept into the lead over a furlong out after Godolphin's other runner Masterstroke had made the running. However, Prince Bishop (7-1) was produced to challenge by Kieren Fallon on the far rail and got the verdict in this Group Three heat by a head after a hard-fought tussle.
