Like everyone I would have loved to know what is happening on the channel front but equally it's is probably unfair for us to badger long standing staff who have also been members of this forum for a while to leak info, I doubt it would be rocket science to establish who at least some of the staff are as they post of the official VM forums too.

Maybe contact the CEO's or retention departments. The CEO's office were pretty candid with me about Sky Arts HD probably not appearing for a while although that was contradicted by retentions who said it is launching soon as is Sky Classics HD.

You decide what's right, I went with the CEO's office personally but of course I could be totally wrong.

Even I am not ALWAYS right he he.

Maybe they will join as of course VM own 50% of UKTV. Perhaps UKTV want too much money for them or perhaps they are considered not popular enough.

The short answer I suppose is we don't know.

Thanks for this. I just find it strange that they own 50% of UKTV yet they don't have all the channels.

UKTV's board is totally seperate though and is independant of Virgin Media and the BBC.

I am aware of this, and was about to include it in my post, but for the sake of simplicity decided not to. In hindsight it's probably an important point!

Still, I would have thought negotiations would be significantly easier with the connection there is and we would see the full portfolio of channels.

BBC confrim BBC Radio 7 rebrand date.

On the BBC Radio 7 via the red button I found that BBC Radio 7 will change it name to BBC Radio 4 Extra on April 2nd.

BBC Radio 7 broadcasts on Virgin Channel 910.
