Females. I have a nasty suspicion that I have been fed a load of lies. Surely nowhere can be without power for more than 48 hours, especially a big city?

Pump dispensers (e.g. liquid soap) where the feed tube doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the container.

Well we have just had a phone call and its the thermostat apparently and that has to be replaced along with new piping so it will be around £200 with labour included.

Well after yesterday l feared it would be even more nevertheless if things keep going wrong which they have been doing this year then there comes a point when one would be throwing good money after bad but we ain't at that point yet.

Flashing blue lights and a ruptured appendix, not my normal Saturday night entertainment. 9 days later and I have escaped hospital feeling very battered and bruised.

Sorry there have been too many posts since my last visit to the forum to comment on individually but please know that I was here in spirit.

So it turns out the reason I was admitted was a reaction to a pill (antibiotic) that the hospital had prescribed. This is the one that I was told previously not to take but I missed it and Natalie was at work. Although not a fatal reaction (obviously ;) ) - it did end up with me needing to go to hospital and being very shook up. Still at least it's another experience for me to have and know that taking it is definitely /bad/ :)

on the plus side I feel like I know what it's like to have Titan mushrooms now :)
