Saeed bin Suroor's Lockwood looked a progressive customer as he collected the Group Three Greene King Supreme Stakes at Goodwood.

Although successful in a race of the same class when trained by Andre Fabre last year, he had been dropped down a few levels during the summer and picked up a little conditions event at Thirsk last time.

Course specialist Boom And Bust made a break for home with two furlongs remaining but Silvestre de Sousa had something to aim for on the 4-1 chance, and caught him up close to the line to score by half a length.
