I'm sure that's not a massive discount to some VIP customers paying over a ton a month, but for people like me, getting a £10 discount per month to take up TIVO would be quite encouraging. I assume this was given to basically take away two costs:

a) £6.50 per month additional box charge
b) £3 per month TIVO charge
= £9.50

So if you are saying you got a £10 per month discount that would be giving you back 50p...to have TIVO.... hmm...sounds a bit fishy to me. Surely a one off?

EDIT: Looks like you went through retentions to get that. If I take TIVO I'll do the same. Funny how I always have to phone retentions everytime I speak to Virgin to get anything done.
