OMG

Sky Movies and Sky Sports only cost £37.89 per month in UK money (€46) on UPC Ireland.

Anyone moving to Ireland?

Fix post after using Bing. It cost more than Virgin Media.

So why are customers in this country being charged over £40 a month for sports and movies.

EUR 46 is about £37.70 at current rates - not quite such a difference. Presumably fluctuates from time to time, contract may have been set when Euro was higher.

Totally agree. The actual figures in the end after correcting the €£ exchange rate were VM £34.25, UPC £37.70. (This comparison excludes base packages, line rental, broadband, HD etc.)

You aren't forced to pay it !!!!! You choose to pay it big difference.

Try exploring alternatives like other people do or better still manage without.
