Well, I'm disappointed with two things I had been looking forward to:

- Dolby Digital, for the reasons mentioned previously (e.g. not being able to have both Dolby *and* DTS enabled for DVDs/BDs).

- 50Hz support... I had hoped it would also be added for DVDs, given they suffer the exact same issue, but it's only for the TV.

What about blurays was there ever an issue with those with judder?

It looks like the controller update may have been to do with the headset.

Yes, from launch.. but because of poor 24Hz support, rather than anything to do with 50Hz.

It was better last time I tested, but still not perfect (i.e. still not as good as the PS3).

50Hz for DVDs, perfect 24Hz for BDs, and proper Dolby support are the main things I need before I can start using my Xbox One for media and retire my PS3.

[Pull-DLNA used to be on that list too, but now I have a Smart TV I don't need a console for that]

Yeah, I read recently that it was for the headset adaptor :)

just getting second patch now lads cannot wait for headset adapter use my turtle beaches again. the controller patch is to do with titanfall aswell i think

How did you guys get the beta update? I know MS were 'randomly' selecting people but it seems you all got access!

I'm really sick of the black screen of death after playing games - I get it almost 90% of the time and I'm really bored of hard resetting my console. I would really like to get this update as early as I can...

I don't know about the others, but I joined the Community Ambassador programme and then used that to gain entry (the Ambassador forums have a thread where you stick your name down to get an invite).

I beta tested all the 360 Dash previews so presume I was included due to that, I did put my mates gamer tags in to the forum last week and they've all been accepted!

I think people that are in the X1 beta program can put forward other users, so if you want a possible invite from MS then send me your gamertag. :)

I wish i could remember how to do this though, as i can't the for life of me find that option now!

edit it is done via the xbox forum so can do it if you're on my friends list.
