Is Magic Radio (Channel 928) and Kiss FM (Channel 963) both set to close on Virgin Media UK on October 1st?

TiVo EPG Listings for both channels are saying on 'To Be Announced' from that date.

Channels are NOT closing after all - EPG has been updated until next weekend.

Both Discovery and Sky are moving their +1s below their main channels from tomorrow, within their existing channel numbers and their respective categories i.e. the Discovery-owned channel moves are to numbers Discovery-owned channels are already on currently, and Sky to Sky allocated numbers.

The trend for having the +1 directly below the main version is clearly at an end.

With some MTV Channels set to move packages tomorrow do anyone think Viacom Channels be next to move to new EPG Channel numbers?

Will we get the missing Discovery channels later this year?

Also Digital Bit Rate is reporting the old SID for Good Food +1 EPG as saying "Channel off air". (New Channel set to launch?)

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2019)

I was wondering the same re: MTV channels. Plus MTV Classic is missing from VM I think, so maybe that added, and C5 and Paramount swapping out for their HD versions as there are no advertising regions to deal with, and they are on the same package tiers anyway.

If the Discovery strategy is followed again the HD swaps will happen first.

I think there is at least one Nick channel in HD missing too, so maybe that is a possible arrival too.

All the following Viacom is not broadcasting on Virgin Media UK right now.

Nick Jr. HD
Nick Jr. +1
Comedy Central Extra +1
5Spike +1
MTV CLASSIC (Broadcasts in Virgin Media Ireland areas right now).
MTV MUSIC +1
MTV +1

I could see them along with remaining Discovery and Sky/Comcast (bar Atlantic) channels launching, along with HD swaps, before the end of January 2020.

If that is the case the channel is obviously either getting very small audiences or there is a carriage dispute.

The real name for channel is AMC from BT so it look like from the outside looking in it will be very small audiences.

Unknown what will happen on BT TV to AMC.

Virgin have never had the AMC channel and you can see why if its getting minute audiences on Sky.

Or the imminent death of linear television. It’s gone to telly heaven with BSB, 3D and the ITV Digital monkey.
