Not just that but some of these young players need a rest and in the case of Wilshere he has only just come back from a long term injury.

Alan Pardew will again attempt to strike a deal for Andy Carroll come summer.

He's also said he'd be interested in Kevin Nolan :confused:

What Kevin Nolan could add to our ranks is beyond me, I thought the reason we flogged him in the first place was because we had a Midfielder a class apart from him in Cabaye. We still do, Tiote, Cabaye and the oncoming Anita are a class above Nolan so that makes little sense for me.

Yes l agree it would be very much a backward step to bring in two extremely average players who would add nothing to Newcastle's team.

Carroll will sign for us permanently providing we stay up, no ifs or but's about it, the deal is signed and binding apparently. What would Nolan add, goals from midfield perhaps...

Perhaps Mikes going to cash in on some one or perhaps the club lacks the ambition to push on from last seasons successful campaign.

Nice to see a friend of my family scoring today for Grimsby. About time they let him play, signed him in Summer and he's been on bench most weeks.

We totally threw that away today.

Bossed the 2nd half completely but a stupid defensive error gives Swansea a goal they never deserved.

2 stonewall penalties not given after players fouling Lallana.
