It is not Microsofts fault you deleted the message. lol

As long as you didn't unregister, if you did delete the code for the beta invite then try contacting support and get them to resend the message.

Ah, right, that sounds a bit crap, then. I hope you're giving this as feedback to MS!

So when outputting the DTS/Dolby bitstream over HDMI it's not outputting DTS/Dolby HD, just normal DTS/Dolby?

Also, can you select Dolby *and* DTS? Or is it one *or* the other?

If I'm to use my Xbox One for media instead of my PS3, I want it to be able to output both without me changing it each time depending on what the disc is encoded with.

On the PS3 (and I'm sure also the 360), it can output both Dolby and DTS without you having to pick one *or* the other - no need to switch formats each time you play a DVD/BD that uses the other one. Disc that uses Dolby? It will output Dolby. Disc that uses DTS? It will output DTS.

There was nothing saying I was deleting. I open up a message, and the most obvious button to touch, deletes the message. Sorry, that is microsoft's fault, puzzled you would think otherwise.

On my Xbox there is a delete button on the left of the message, it would be better to give a confirmation box though before it is actually deleted.

Have you not contacted ms about it on their forums like other people have?

I will be posting as feedback yes. Yes i believe its just for norma DD/DTS. You can only choose one option and not both. Im not sure what happens if you choose DTS but the film is DD for example

It can take 48 hours after running the registration app. When did you run it?

I thought the registration app took 48hrs for you to be either accepted or not? I was accepted yesterday evening, so i guess it can take another 48hrs after being accepted? :)

I believe you get the update 48 hours after running the app. It used to be like that on the 360 if I remember correctly.

I just got my update. You'll know when you've got it because it'll start flashing if you have it turned off.
