Long time "lurker" on the .com and many other forums.

NTL 1Mb (multiple PC's and 100Mb switched network running behind a Linux firewall/router) and two NTL phone lines (Sky TV as NTL's TV sucks) been on NTL for 3 years or so now.

I work as a third line technical support specialist for another ISP so am happy to help technically if I ever can.

used to post on .com ages ago when i worked for NTL but pretty much stopped as it idn't seem that much fun anymore. still they helped me out when i needed it.

can i just ask, why is this site a carbon copy of .com? personally i prefered it in the old days before the forum was split on the front screen. easier to move around that way. just an opinion

OK, here goes:

I was originally a mod/admin on the .com site, with the likes of Frank, Russ, Craig, Neil and Mike (to name but a few).

I do not work at ntl anymore. Some of you will already know why. Some of you will not. Needles to say i am not really welcome to post on the .com site anymore (by ntl i might add, not the mods/admins), So i was glad to see this site 'Rise out of the ashes', so i can start posting again.

I was a senior tech at ntl on the internet side so i can help out with anything that it internet and modem related (Just like the old days, eh!!!)

Anyway enough drivel.....

For the unenlightened,would you care to explain why?

Needless to add that the website in question was saying some very nasty things about me and my friends.
