Lewis still won't win the Sports Personality award this year, nor will he get knighted despite the fact he is the best British F1 driver ever.

So the numbers of MPs and Sports pundits calling for Lewis to get a Knighthood are growing so it looks likely he will.

There are still the few idiots who believe the false tax claims against him, despite the fact he is one of the top 5,000 taxpayers in the UK, then there are the other countries he pays tax in.

But he has used loopholes to save tax, but if you are honest how many here would do the same to save money.

There is a big difference between tax avoidance and tax evasion, unfortunately a lot of numpties can't see that.

btw, I agree with you, and think Hamilton should get the award - however, he won it previously in 2014, but that shouldn't make a difference, as Henry Cooper, Damon Hill, and Nigel Mansell won it twice (and Andy Murray three times).

If LH doesn't win SPOTY he definitely should get it next year when he get number 8.

I mean there is no real opposition, their car just couldn't turn the tyres on a brand new tarmaced track in Turkey and yet they still won.
