If like last year we still don't have the red button features for Wimbledon I think you will see a hell of a lot of people complaining unlike last year when it was just the early adopters

Well you would think with the Euros there would be plenty of facts and figures at the very least plus some other additional red button centent.

I know this is not TiVo.

But why is the series link not working for Euro 2012 on BBC One on V+ boxes?

Maybe VM's way of getting everyone over to TiVo?

A update about the BBC Red Button Sports App Upgrade.

http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/...e/td-p/1249345

Quote:

We've upgraded the BBC Sports app with a number of new features:

•More Sports – in addition to the existing Formula 1 coverage, there is a new index for Euro 2012 and Wimbledon (which will be added later in the month)
•Higher quality live video – all live events are now in HD where coverage is available.
•Autoplay video-on-demand – when you open the BBC Sports App videos will now Auto-play in each menu.
•Plus more live and on-demand coverage.
This update is being rolled out over the next 24 hours.

Because no-one wants to record live sport (or so we're frequently told :p:)

Well its seem this BBC TiVo Sports app although full of video clips regarding Euro 2012/F1 also has its limitations it seems as there are no text articles there and no list of fixtures or tables in the Euro 2012 section and in the F1 section there is nothing but a few clips and my question would be is this as good as it gets because at the moment its just another half baked attempt by the BBC

I highly doubt it. What we're getting on TiVo is the next generation red button services forth new internet-connected devices. The old red button on the V+, Sky and Freeview will eventually become a relic of the past like Teletext.
