Re: Weather
With a water ban still due to start on 5th August we now have 4 full water butts and a well watered garden courtesy of the rain. Seems strange seeing grey skies and having to put the light on in the sitting room but the cooler breeze is very welcome. :)

Apart from the hanging baskets as the rain doesn't get to those easily. |
Re: Weather
Give it another day of rain before people start complaining about what a rotten summer we're having !

Re: Weather
On Thursday morning at 7:15 am it was 32c in my office, it was horrendous.
Luckily I decided to book Friday off, and when it thundered I stood outside in it. |

When you go there what places do you recommend as we go a few times in the summer on day trips to the arcades and adventure golf and grab a bite to eat at saras tearoom, is there anything else we should be looking into doing? |

Re: Weather
We've had a little bit of rain but now I'd like a return to more civilised weather - 25-35C lots of sun. Make more electricity on our solar platform (got over 16kWh in the good weather, 2kWh on Sunday) and I'm happier in the heat.

Re: Weather
:cleader::hyper: The sun's back, almost clear blue sky, no wind. :):):)

Gonna get up in the 30s here next week again (I hate it when it gets that hot!!)

Re: Weather
It will feel like 32c here again today, far too bloody hot and humid for me, the next week or so is similar.
At least it isn't the usual rain and gales i guess! |
