Still can't understand why Miller is voted player of the year at City only for Pep to offload him the following season.

Absolutely nothing to do with trying to paint a good guy image and him in the process of a legal battle with the Premier League.

To add to the Premier League's current woes, they've been served a second legal summons this morning by a leading sports lawyer representing Newcastle United fans (not the club) backed by a currently anonymous donor. Odds on Fat Mike. Their papers are served on the basis they believe the Premier League broke UK anti-competition law by allowing 9 Premier League clubs to interfere in the process. Two of which are named as Liverpool and Tottenham by Staveley and Ashley.

Hot on the heels of the Project big picture disaster, this seems very timed and calculated.

An update on the following after a few weeks.

The Premier League did eventually issue a private statement to the Lawyers of the fans group. That was then released removing the privacy. The letter advised that the group stand down from such a legal challenge at the present time as it would be in the best interests of both parties to continue to monitor ongoing legal action against the Premier League itself from Newcastle United football club represented by Nick de Marco and PIF Saudi Arabia represented by numerous.

In other words. The premier league inadvertently revealed that the club had indeed launched legal action against the league when they stated their intent to do so. Was meant to be a private letter too or course.

Its believed to be at the arbitration stage in which both sides can still come out of this with a resolution without the need of a court room but it's expected that if the Premier League fail to approve the sale of the club to Saudi Arabia then we'll end up in the court. It isn't known whether the club also pursuing the same thought that Anti-Competition laws were breached if both Liverpool and Spurs were allowed direct contact with the league during the O&D process. That combined with the project failure that emerged only a few months later could be absolutely damning if it makes it to court.

This is news in England why?

He was a junkie cheat, and gets little if any sympathy from me.
