It's the best site I've come across for TV information that covered both UK and US shows and also included industry information.

I know its a Shame but it won't close until April 1st 2016. TVWISE are No Longer doing Articles but they are still going to update the UK & USA Premier Start Date Pages and Scorecard page until it closes.

That's true and good news. But I will miss the background articles, which gave good insight into behind the scenes network decisions, and the announcement pieces. I used the site most days.

The fact that Patrick Munn seems to have been offered jobs because of his editorial work on the site is testament to the sites' quality

True, well at least until end of March, and at one time I thought the same.

However undertakereddie comes up with information from many other sites (sites that would drive me nuts wading through the celebrity rubbish to get to the real news) which is very useful IMHO, and therefore a good addition to this thread. That will be even more important in the future, when TV Wise fully shuts down.

Marvel's Agent Carter has got another new UK premiere date for season 2, and unfortunately you're going to have to wait a little longer.
Initially announced to debut on January 5, the new run was then put back to January 24, following pesky Barack Obama causing a delay to the US premiere.
It's now been confirmed that Peggy (Hayley Atwell) will be back with the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve ) on Fox in the UK on Thursday, January 28.

The free-to-air broadcaster, which is a joint venture between Channel 4 and Bauer Media, struck the deal for series 15 with distributor Fremantle Media International.

The show most recently aired on 5* in the UK but the Viacom-owned broadcaster stopped airing it last year. Previously, the Simon Fuller-created show aired on ITV2.

Absolutely ridiculous and shows a lack of imagination and common sense.

If someone really wanted to see this film continously throughout the day, they could do this via On Demand. Medical intervention may also be necessary. :nutter:

It wouldn't surprise me if E4 let it go. It started off as a serious musical drama on Nashville, and turned into a soap.

T Bone Burnett, the creator's wife and first season's music producer left for that reason.

Quote:

"Some people were making a drama about real musicians' lives, and some were making a soap opera, so there was that confusion," Burnett told The Hollywood Reporter. "It was a knockdown, bloody, drag-out fight, every episode. You remember that show 'The Prisoner?' If I were to tell you the truth, you'd think I was insane. "
Buddy Miller took over the music, so that is still good, and so far I've managed to put up with the soap because of the music. Plus, the Nashville location is good. The soap part is getting pretty dire though...

Is this the first new drama ever to be shown on Pick TV? If so, this is a good sign that maybe they want to develop the channel from its existing low profile.
