Most days I find my CD throwing out Zero7, especially "Destiny" with Sia Furler on vocals, or "Somersault". However most days I also throw on a Squeeze CD, or the Chris Difford solo album - fantastic stuff!

Currently adding quite a lot of 'swing' to my collection - found a nice 3-CD set at Tesco's of Glenn Miller stuff. Wonderful.

Other than that the largest part of my collection is ELO, but I also got this wonderful CD by a band called Gaia Epicus - really, really good heavy metal.

Throw in a bit of classical once in a while - particularly as backgorund music while I'm working, and it's quite a mix.

well i just listened to the first cd in the 'Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band Live 'n' Rare' compo from Morpheus - some of it makes you cringe - some of it brings the hairs up on the back of your neck.

If you like syncopated rhythms, listen to the band & forget his voice

- but even the voice is still strangely compelling

'big eyed beans from venus' - oh my oh my :D

I have a friend who's a big fan of Capt. Beefheart - couldn't get into myself. Not my cup of tea.

Don't get me started on The Distillers. The lead singer is not a particularly nice woman who was married Tim Armstrong, who is the lead singer of one of my favourite bands, Rancid (check my sig). She messed him around and divorced him, and he took up drinking and almost killed himself again.

And her music is s**t. They'd never have got anywhere if Tim didn't take her on under his Hellcat label. Apparently she's now involved with one of the QOTSA members, which would explain her song's appearence on the compilation.

I hate Brody cps in every picture she's always leaning over with her bra popping out her top and cleavage akimbo. This seems to be THe Distillers key selling tool.
