Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)

They always seem to make the ramp at WM a ridiculous length. Not happy with any of the results at WM this year, apart from Lesnar. Hoping the RAW is worthy of previous years, chants wise. But sadly I think now I have finally grown out of wrestling and WWE. I go through peaks and dips, but honestly WM was the first PPV I watched since last year's Battleground PPV just after the split. Honestly, unless things pick up I don't think I will be watching another PPV before WM XXXIV.

Surely I'm not the only one who just does not 'get' Shinsuke Nakamura? I'm not talking about his abilities etc but the seemingly pointless hand gestures and silly facial expressions during his entrance.

Most of the time he looks like he's had a stroke(see below).

OK I absolutely love his titantron music (it's my ringtone) but he does nothing to get me on-board. I suppose I get the gum-shield etc but the duckface pouts too? And 'King of Strong Style' at 230lb? He'd need a few more stones in weight to be 'King' of anything strong. He obviously has loads of fans but whatever his appeal is, it's completely wasted on me. Some wrestlers I like, some I don't but he's the first one in a long time to make me want to pick up my laptop/phone or do something else until his segment/match is over

Gotta say, my interest in WWE outside of PPV's is purely focused on the Divas division. Yes, because I am that damn shallow.

You're about to get that bit more shallow - one of our girls has just been signed to NXT - Nixon Newell ;)

WWE Hall of Famer Bobby “The Brain” Heenan — regarded as one of the greatest managers and announcers in wrestling history — died Sunday after a lengthy battle with throat cancer. He was 73.

Never be a pairing like him and Gorilla again on commentary. He will be sadly missed, a true legend.

I liked him, Mike tenay and Tony schivanni (sp) together and that survivor series match he did against the ultimate warriors team was classic to

It's increasingly likely that Goldberg will make another run before WM up until and including the event itself. Guess they'll use his WWE 24/7 show to build him up.

I have a feeling they'll build Strowman even further then have Goldberg crush him the way they played it against Lesnar. Be a shame, the only downside of his last run was squashing legitimate talent. Give him Cena. It's definitely not the Undertaker as suggested either, can't imagine the disaster that would unfold from booking that.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)

Should clear up that he wasn't just randomly selected for release but was actually fired. He's facing allegations of rape and failed to notify WWE which led to him appearing backstage last night in preparation for his match with Goldust. WWE only finding out he was accused of rape during the show after being contacted by several media outlets. He put them in a pretty bad situation and was deservedly suspended and made to leave immediately before being sacked. WWE have been quick to stress he was dismissed for the failure to notify them rather than the allegations themselves.

I think it's likely WWE would have simply placed him on some form of suspension whilst the case unfolds and he notified them how he intended to plea should it get that far. Thus they could make a decision to keep him suspended until a court decision or release him if he intended to plead guilty.

As it stands he made a rats arse of it by just showing up and keeping it quiet.

Can't say I'm shocked, he's been getting a lot of heat backstage because of his actions. I never rated him, either as a singles or tag team competitor.
