Lady Cecil's Wild Coco looked in a different league to her rivals when successful in Goodwood's Blackrock Fillies' Stakes for the second successive year.

Those who took the 5-6 about the five-year-old never had a moment of concern as the mare, having her first run for new owners since being purchased for 985,000 guineas, cruised through the race.

Tom Queally had a leisurely look around two furlongs out and with only Elik making progress from the rear, Queally kept her up to her work to win by two and a half lengths.

It was Wentworth who found the extra gear, powering down the middle of the track to assume the lead with half a furlong still to run. Three-quarters of a length was the winning verdict ahead of Cape Peron, while Sandagiyr finished fast to take third, a further head behind, with Galician in fourth.

But Thierry Jarnet always looked confident, and once he asked Moonlight Cloud to go and win the race the response was immediate and the five-year-old was able to come home alone.
