Any reason for the Mickey Mouse comment, everyone else on here seems capable of having great debates without resorting to petty name calling of other succesful businesses.

Why not try it yourself, it may help you stay around longer this time.

AS PB says lets not descend into another battle of who is best at this and that and lets just leave it at that.

My comment was just a correction to what was posted. No battle here.

You have some great comments about the thread subject in all your posts on the previous page. No one can mistake you for taking a thread off-topic :p:

I spoke about Catchup AND On Demand. You just choose the bit that suited you.

Your ballanced view is non existent. This is why I read and value posts from people like MM and Chad, but put no creadance in anything that you post. It's a shame, because there may even be some valid points in them, but they just get buried in the obvious Sky bias.

Now this is a ballanced view on Catchup and On Demand from MM

VM have the luxury with their STB's that it doesn't require a seperate Internet connection and is available on non PVR boxes that said I would say Sky now probably has a more comprehensive range of catchup content , VM possibly has the edge when it comes to library content although Sky's is increasing all the time.

That's a big rant considering I only clarified one part of you post that was misleading. It is your own bias which has lead to the pointless rant. Very hypocritical.

In fact my previous posts in this thread were just agreeing with other posts. You have gone well out of your way to attack me. A known member of the anti-sky brigade ;) Double H

It wasn't even an opinion I posted. It was a simple fact. Rant for no reason except own bias, case closed.

Oh dear - will you ever learn - customers of both companies can live together on here you know. Its all about respecting each others opinions without resorting to posts like this. Take a look at the posts which appeared while you were on your holiday - no hostility just good humoured banter.

Usual suspect not talking about the topic and only here to attack me. One day they will get bored.

Having kept to just the Sky part of the forum recently, think its time to have a look in the Vm part to see whats new there.

Where is the attack? Why not simply be civil?

How about focusing on the thread subject, rather than each other - any continuation of the sniping will be deleted, and infractions issued.

Is that new channel really called Sky Movies Disney? Is it a Disney channel re-badged or a new Sky only channel that shows mostly Disney programmes?

Just seen in a mail that The Australian Grand Prix was exclusive to Sky F1/HD. Not being a sporty person, is that a channel sold to other tv providers too?

Neither. It will be a Sky Movies channel rebadged. Modern Greats, Classic and Indie are merging into two new channels (Greats and Select), freeing up a slot for Sky Movies Disney.

Channel 4's 4oD, live stream channels launch on Sky

Quote:

Channel 4's digital services, including the 4oD catch-up TV platform, have today (March 18) become available to Sky customers.

Viewers with a Sky+HD box connected to broadband can now access 4oD to catch up on shows from Channel 4's portfolio of networks, including Channel 4, E4 and More 4. Programming from the Channel 4 archive, such as The Inbetweeners, Shameless, Spaced, Father Ted, The IT Crowd and This Is England '88, will also be available on Sky On Demand.

Have noticed that Virgin have been advertising Broadband without a landline, Sky pushing hard on this will give them the opportunity to push the fact that you don't need a landline or broadband to get catch up/on demand from VM
