Wouldn't it be better to do a new channels or upcoming channels channel on 996 to let customers know what channels have been added or upcoming? :)

I just passed my local virgin media shop in town and figured I would pop in and ask the question on the Sky Sports & Movies HD channels....

I was told we can order them tommorow and that it will be Â£7 for sports and another Â£7 for movies!!!

However the bloke I spoke too looked very much like this :- :dunce:

So this may not be accurate....

That sir is pretty much spot on. Wonderful. I bet sky and virgin did do that as well. I'm not complaining about virgin I've had great deals off them up to this point but I've had also the evil sky call about offers available for me. I fear virgins pack of cards is about to collapse now they've got into bed and been royally screwed over by sky. A damn shame, I'll await the actual news before I decide mind.

Who said announcement would be today anyway? I bought all these supplies for nothing. Another day wasted,, never mind...

Definitely Â£7 per box, and from August 2nd the V HD box will also be the standard box installed for new customers (who'll have to pay an extra Â£49 if they want to activate the HD on it)

well thanks vm for the double wammy on vip customers did not get any discount and charged same for hd only one winner here and it not vm game set and match to sky

I still think Virgin have something up their sleeve regarding all this HD pricing. Just put Movies on to my package so I'll pay extra no problem. Then after my deal is up and if Sky is better VFM,I'll go with them. Simple.

Can anyone confirm what's going on with the sky sport package prices anyway? Surely there is a price decrease due soon anyway with the ofcom decision? A couple of quid off my price probably may make me take it up. So far ofcom for an xl customer has seen zero change...
