Cable Forum - Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. I

Question for Media Boy mainly unless anyone else can also answer it. I have noticed you put a list on here about what changes to look out for when your area has switched to NGTV. Ive seen what to look out for if you are in a extelewest or exntl area. But what about if you are in the excable&wireless headend area of Bromley what should we look out for regarding the NGTV switch over.

Yes, looks that way gadge... but everyone will get ITV1 HD as you say.

I suppose there is no point in upgrading a headend that is going to be switched off in a few weeks time.. it would be a waste of money.

Ok thanks i guessed as much. But it can get a bit confusing when you see the three main headends mentioned , with exntl , extelewest and excable&wireless written next to them.

i presume that you you will get ITV HD regardless of NGTV or not then after NGTV is rolled out in your area you will get the rest of the HD channels.

Early hours usually, although I have known it to be 6am/7am.

No, I am on the Oldham headend, but they have done various headends in Manchester this week so hopefully they will finish Manchester off next week and we will get our NGTV in time for the HD channels (they better do or else...:D) :)

Any ideas on harlow, essex, I think we are fed from the cambridge headend.

I SWEAR I WILL BE SO ANGRY WITH VIRGIN MEDIA IF Oldham DOES NOT GET NGTV BEFORE APRIL - stupid virgin media...:mad::shocked::sleep::o:

I knew there would be a catch. :mad:

And they expect to rival sky... personaly I hate $ky but AH AH AHHHH NO CHANCE :(

EDIT: So basicly the HD channels wont OFFICIALLY launch April 1st like they said...ITS A STUPID ROLLOUT :( - THIS P**SES ME OFF
