STV has got the rights to "Brookside" for STV Player from February 1st.

Starting with ten episodes dropping when five episodes dropping weekly.

Never see it, there again that goes for lots of"hit" shows, ie masked singer, Corrie ,EastEnders , dancing on anything ! That I have chosen not too.

It’s not really surprising that subscriptions for non-essentials would be hit by the cost of living crisis. However, the penultimate paragraph of that item is interesting.

‘In total, there were 1.5m new streaming subscriptions in the UK in the fourth quarter, and 1.2m cancellations, resulting in overall growth of 300,000.’

It is pertinent to note that Sky has also been losing customers, so it’s not just the streamers that took a hit.
