Shawcross is one of the best around at the moment and I've always liked Brede Hangeland and Jonas Olsson. In terms of recent, mooted targets don't really like Ashley Williams as he's a gobby blert and I don't think Toby Alderweireld is good enough although he's miles better than Coates! |

So heres an article saying Newcastle and Everton are offering £8million for James McCarthy who Wigan value at £15million. How long ago was it Everton called Uniteds bid for two of their players "derisory and insulting" because it was less than what they valued the players at? Strange how the media haven't picked up on this... |

Get a replacement for Cabaye and try out Demba Ba and Cisse again and let's start firing. Wouldn't be too quick to believe this though as Newcastle officials have flown out to France to speak with Gomis again. Edit: Broken Link replaced http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/f...n-8787435.html |

Considering Chelsea are getting stick for stockpiling attacking midfielders, Spurs seem to be doing the same with Lamela and possibly Eriksen from Ajax as well. I never noticed there was a football section here. I support Chelsea, but don't hold that against me...

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
20 odd million quid for Lamela??? Surely the basic transfer fee can't be that high.
And Willian? 30 million quid for a forward who hasn't scored many goals in one of the worst leagues in Europe? has someone been on the blower to Damien Comolli? |
