Read somewhere that it every TiVo would have it by end of October. However I keep seeing by the end of the year

Wherever you read that its wrong, providing it goes fine they will start and roll it out from later this month with all TiVo's planned to be updated by the end of the year

Has the deleted items folder been removed on the new software? I can't seem to find it

No its still there and should be there right below the HD recordings.

This week marks 4 weeks since they put the update into the first trial areas so assuming it all went well we'll hopefully here something this week on the roll out plans
