Isn't Arsenals wage bill higher than Chelseas now as well?

Arsene is a expert at excuses.

I'd say the decline isn't supposed if your crowing about being in 4th, how the mighty have fallen, competing with Arsenal for the 4th place trophy

Thing is MU has had a very easy start to their season regarding their fixtures but soon the real test will come against the top 6 sides.

Only crowing after the devastating Moyes effect. Given how most of you wrote United off this season you'd expect us to be near the bottom.

Top 6? Don't you mean Chelsea?

It's just a bit early to crow. Most of the top teams have played each other at least once, in most cases twice, and until yesterday United hadn't played anyone who were in the top half of the table last season. You're crowing about only being three points behind City but they've had Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea already. Arsenal have had City, Chelsea and Spurs. Liverpool have had City and Spurs. Etc.

We're only 7 games in.

The crowing wasn't meant literally, it was aimed at those saying United were already written off barely 2 or 3 games in...

Find out in two weeks time when MAN U play Chelsea.

Hardly a good indication when United have such a weak defence and Chelsea have aruguably the best in-form striker in the PL at the moment. I can't see Chelsea getting anything other than a win in that game.

I'm not surprised, especially as United sold out a 110,000 seater stadium for a friendly in the summer.
