One thing that's not been mentioned about Sky Atlantic is as well as all the current programming we'll be able to see, we will also get all the stuff from On Demand!
Sky Atlantic arriving on VM for me will finally see some sort of balance re-addressed in quality VM have to offer on their platform. |
Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
Supporting Richard Coulter's earlier post, Nialli is reporting on his blog that multiple sources have revealed that Sky staff have been told not to promote Sky Atlantic as being exclusive to the Sky platform.

Sky Atlantic has been a thorn in our sides, but we will get it soon and then we can catch up with all the material we have missed over the last couple of years. Rather a delay like that than extortionate rates being charged for the channel. |

I'm pretty sure the first half is right, hence why the FA Cup is still on ESPN. Whether the deal with Virgin remains, I'm far less sure.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
Could that be the real issue re: existing contract between espn and virgin media irrespective of new owners.
I would guess Probably not because BT mention in their marketing strategy that after 31st July virgin will no longer have access to espn so would disagree with that assumption that vm "has" to carry it @richardcoulter: may I ask why you personally should be informed of whether sky workers are not following supposed direction from management. Surely that would be up to sky to deal with much as virgin media workers following direction from their management regarding advice they give in retentions |
Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
New idea for the 4 test channels: Sky Atlantic SD, Sky Atlantic HD, Sky Atlantic +1 & Sky1 +1
