Not sure if that's good or bad because where will the HD versions of bbc 3&4 go?

The minimum contract period is generally to cover the cost of the equipment, so it makes sense for your broadband upgrade (I assume you were sent a new modem). Did you have a special deal with the TV upgrade maybe?

"unless you are told otherwise by us, you must keep the phone service, the television service and the Internet access service for 12 months from the service start date in each case and, in the case of other services, for at least 30 days"

I don't remember having any special deals at the time.

Would someone out of contract need to take a new 12 month contract if they changed TV package? If yes it seems to be the only time when a new contract would apply, based on information posted here today.

Sky Movies Disney channel to launch on Sky in March

Quote:

Sky is to launch a brand new, dedicated satellite television channel that will become the pay-TV home of Disney Studios movies in the UK and Ireland.

Sky Movies Disney will go live on the Sky platform in late March. It is part of a wide-ranging partnership deal between Sky and Disney, that follows similar collaboration agreements between the part-Rupert Murdoch media giant and Warner Brothers, Universal Pictures and Sony.
Quote:

Also under the Sky-Disney deal, the satellite broadcaster has renewed its carriage deals to the suite of Disney networks, including the Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior, along with Disney Junior HD, which will launch in April.
Quote:

Available in standard and high definition, the channel will launch on March 28 and exclusively air new Disney movies such as Brave, Tinker Bell: Secret of the Wings and Wreck-It Ralph on pay-TV in 2013, along with Oz the Great and Powerful, Monsters University and The Lone Ranger after they finish their cinema runs. Disney films available in 3D will also be shown on the Sky 3D channel under the deal.

You'd have to contact your TV provider to find out.
