Yeah. Ajax should have been 2-1 up at some point.

In fairness, Madrid didn't field their best side. It feels like Ajax deserved a point from that match though.

Because we have been completely **** in Europe this season. Every game it seemed the players thought it would be easy and under estimated the opposition, even tonight. We got what we deserved and now have the embarrassment of being in the Europa league, i would have rather finished bottom of the group. Hopefully it gives the players a wake up call and shows Ferguson we need a decent central midfielder brought in.

unlucky man, 1st was for sure a goal. second a very good shot at goal.. disallowed because one of your players blocked the vision of the goalkeeper? :rolleyes: i didn't see whether he was offside but he looked on? Reals third summed it up, your defender didn't even bother getting back on the line

Yes l have to agree that Man Utd should have bought a quality midfielder to replace Scholes and failed to do that and are now paying the price.
