Its about time that they thought of the normal sports subscribers instead of going for the quick buck so the the decision has to be applauded.:clap:

I noticed though denphone they never said they would not return to "pay per view" in the future for boxing ,you can probably be sure if we get more world class boxers they most probably will, sky are a buisiness and they can see which way the wind is blowing in the present climate.

As sky sports is quite costly though i am not surprised it flopped,in america PPV i think is big business the americans obviously do not mind paying another fee on top of a hefty sub, unlike the more sensible europeans.LOL:D

Yes l saw that it could still return to pay-per-view in the future but l think there are 2 reasons for their change of mind and that is the lack of big name boxers and also the economic climate.

Yes spot on denphone and i also think people resent paying a subscription each month ,only to be charged extra for certain sporting events even if they can afford it.

No surprise there really.:(
I have to say I refuse to pay per view as subs for sports channels are high enough already.:(

Guarantee that if the Mayweather Pacquiao fight gets made it'll be on Sky Box Office though.
