Is it only a three horse race now ? With Arsenal finishing fourth but 18 points adrift.

The Final Table

As Liverpool finished 11 points adrift last season, and both they and Arsenal 21 points the season before, i can categorically say; no, it isn't.

Being a Spurs fan, and have a soft spot for Toon, l really feel sad for them, they are a great club, and you can't get fans any better, they live and breed football, and the person l blame for this is Ashley, He had all the money to buy, he sacked a good manager, and now look.

They should bounce back, but they should not have gone down in the first place, Up the toon.

He won't get in to the top 4 but he's still premiership material. He'll be back.

He's really not, ask any Newcastle fan that - your looking at when he was decent, he hasn't got anything left in the tank. I can't say he got the best service this season at Tyneside, but he really didn't try - especially in the second half of the season.

Good thing he'll leave this summer.

I agree, Michael Owen is class, and you don`t normally lose that. How old is he now? not even 30 yet, if he manages to do a stint without injury( that`s the risk any potential buyers faces) he could even force his way back into England reckoning.
Could be worth Man City gambling ~5 million, if it pays off it would be a masterstroke, nah who am i kidding it`s City he`d rupture another cruciate in his first game right after scoring.

Feel sorry for Newcastle supporters, imo Newcastle United needs to be run by geordies to get the best out of the club.

p.s. Good luck to Man U on the 26ᵀᴴ from a Man City fan :bigcry:

Whats the difference between Alan Shearer and Newcastle United?

Sorry to buck the trend here, but I thought that it was hilarious when the barcodes were relegated, especially when the other results went their way and they still mucked up. ;) :D

I would just love it if they went down again next season... ;)

If he can keep fit, still the best goal poacher in the Prem.

Glad we won, how much stick would we have taken, based on chances, the battering I predicted should have happened. Shame Tosic didn't play, God knows where MUTV got that team from.

No Rio, that is a worry for Wed. But Brown is back, that is a huge plus.

Shame that Fergie didn't put Tosic on a lot earlier than he did, to see what he is capable of.

He looks the part, it's always hard to say when all you see is reserve footy, look at Rossi. Sometimes you see a player and he looks like he has bit of something about him, fingers crossed for this lad, Left Wingers always seem to be a rare breed.

I would assume he is having a bit of a laugh at the old Keegan rant from a few years back.
