I back sven, what they did was disgusting. End of the day any high profile manager may have said something similiar in their time and could be caught by the same thing just sven was picked out and targeted.

I liked the story that he apologised to Rio Ferdinand for calling him lazy, only to be reminded that he'd called Rio lazy to his face several times!

It looks like the new boys will be playing too...
Ah, three goal start for Liverpool then.

Notice Sven is not suing for libel, enough said really.

I see Arsenal have signed Theo Walcott from Southampton for £12 million. I'm sure I speak for all non-arsenal supporters, in hoping you do as well as the other wonder kid arsenal signed before now. But don't despair Theo, when it does all go wrong, and you only make a handful of appearances. I'm sure you can always follow in the footsteps of the other arsenal wonder kid, Jermaine Pennant, who was such a great talent he was shown the door faster than you can say "pires is a diver". And after a couple of drink driving offences, and a spell of porridge, you too can have an illustrious career at Birmingham.

Hope you and Jermaine have a great time playing in the football league (you wonder kids you ! ) :D

I'm becoming more and more impressed with Wigan - although they still strike me as the kind of team to get above themselves after success in one season then fizzling out like a cheap firework then next (like Everton and Arsenal this season) but good on them as it gives teams like my local side Swansea something to aim for.

Ah yes, that reminds me,

Isn't it back to 8 points with no game in hand now? And with a bit of luck it's be 11 this time tomorrow.

Oh Deary Me ! Another great away day for arsenal :p:

And with the 2nd leg of the carling cup in midweek, which no doubt they will put out a second string team. And then next weekend, a tricky away tie in the FA cup to Bolton (who have already beaten them this season). It could be some time before BB makes another post.

Maybe we should have a whip round on CF, and buy a St Bernard and start the search. :D

I have a feeling that next weeks edition of the NOTW could bring out further revelations, leaked just prior to next Sunday

Speaking of the NOTW, I thought I'd do the non-existant Arsenal fans a favour by posting this in order to deflect some attention away from their team's poor and already-over season.

The News of the World does not name the Premiership clubs in question for legal reasons, but does provide a series of clues as to who they are.
Hang on whats going on here, they wont name and shame clubs for corruption but have no problem shaming errikson, bit of biased news reporting. Proves to me the NOTW has its own agenda.

Utd 1 Liverpool 0 :D

A nice entertaining game, a shame someone had to lose really, I am pleased it wasn't Utd though ;)

I don't think the News Of The World can actually prove it, they only have Sven's word for it and he is a known liar and cheat

then how do they know he wasnt lying to "them" knowing whats going on. the whole thing is contradictory and them out to cause trouble. I hope they get fined lots of money for this rubbish. I also thank them for wrecking our world cup hopes, what were they thinking on the year of the world cup as well.

I think it's safe to assume that with the amount of previous he has got, he wasn't lying. I agree though the timing of it sucks, but then The News Of The World's job is to sell newspapers, Sven's is to win games, perhaps if he had been concentrating on that, this whole mess could have been avoided, lets hope that the players are a lot more professional than the manager.
